Description: This nebulosity is part of the neck of The Pelican Nebula. Light from young stars in this area is changing cold gas to hot, causing expanding ionization fronts. Herbig-Haro 555, a faint jet at the end of one of the pillars in the above image, is indicative of a protostar.
